Privacy Policy

Last updated July 31, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Ascention collects, uses, and protects information in connection with ascention.group and communications initiated through this website. It does not apply to the separate privacy practices of companies in which Ascention invests, partners, or works.

2. Information we collect

The website does not currently offer user accounts or direct payment processing. We may receive information that you voluntarily provide through our inquiry form or when you contact us directly, including your name, email address, role, company information, the type of opportunity you are exploring, and the contents of your message.

Our hosting and technology providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website. This may include an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, and the date and time of a request.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
  • evaluate potential partnerships, investments, or engagements;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
  • protect our rights and prevent misuse or fraud; and
  • comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that support our communications, hosting, security, professional services, and company operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Ascention does not currently use advertising cookies or operate interest-based advertising through this website. Our hosting provider may use essential technologies and server logs to deliver, protect, and diagnose the website.

The entrance notice stores one first-party value in your browser's local storage after you select "Accept and enter." This value does not contain contact information and is used only to remember that you accepted the notice so it does not appear on every visit.

We use cookieless, first-party analytics to understand how the website is used and whether visitors reach our inquiry form. This reporting stores the page requested, visit time, referral domain, campaign tags, an optional opaque outreach campaign code, and a temporary random session identifier. The outreach code can be matched to a campaign record that we keep separately, but it does not contain a name or email address. We do not store a visitor name, email address, full referral URL, persistent device identifier, IP address, or browser user-agent string in our analytics dataset. The temporary session identifier is kept in browser session storage and is removed when that browser session ends. Analytics events are retained for up to 90 days.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legitimate operational, legal, accounting, and security needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send highly sensitive information through our inquiry form or ordinary email.

7. Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have provided, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs. You may also ask questions about our information practices by contacting us at the address below.

8. Children's privacy

This website is intended for company leaders and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and address it.

9. Third-party links

The website may link to services operated by others. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.

11. Contact

Questions or requests may be sent to reach@ascention.group or mailed to Ascention, 800 Third Avenue FRNT A, #1406, New York, NY 10022.
